A.Polykarpou active involvement in carpentry commenced in 1969, situated in Larnaca. Following a successful phase, the company determined it was time to expand the enterprise and relocate to its present site adjacent to Aradippou Industrial Estate. Gradually, with the engagement of his sons, the establishment of A. POLYKARPOU & SONS LTD was accomplished.

From 1969 to 1989, A.Polykarpou engaged in a variety of woodworking projects, mainly catering to private individuals. In 1990, the company leadership made a strategic choice to specialize exclusively in the production of kitchen doors and cabinets. Subsequently, in 2004, a significant investment was made in machinery, including a cutting-edge CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled) machine, aimed at enhancing door production. This decision was put into action in early 2008, after careful review by the company advisors. It was then decided to diversify the product range to include kitchen and wardrobe cabinets, a market niche that Cyprus lacked at the time. This expansion was supported by additional machinery investments, including a second modern CNC machine. This marked the inception of a new production line for kitchen and wardrobe cabinets. Alongside this, the company offered clients the opportunity to explore the new production model through printed dimensions, and a kitchen design section with a 3-dimensional design program was established at their offices.
